At Fracas we like to visit training shows for agility practice. An agility training show environment is busy and so it can be challenging for dogs to focus. We regularly arrange visits to local training shows, supporting and guiding club members through the process.
Last week we visited the JDA Independent Agility Show for the second time. And our members had some amazing runs. There were a few mistakes but we learn from those. It was the first time I completely forgot the agility course I was running half way through. I have made a mental note to also focus! It seems the environment is not only distracting for canines, humans also suffer.
Congratulations to: Nicola with Woody the flying Welshy for a fabulous clear round; Merlin the poodle for a lovely clear round; and Debbie with Badger for winning their class!

At the recent agility training show, we had the pleasure of witnessing our club members in action, delivering impressive performances with their four-legged partners. One of the exciting videos below features Nicola and her enthusiastic dog, Woody, as they navigate a demanding jumping round. Full of vigour and precision, Woody bounds from one obstacle to the next.
Another highlight from the event was the steeplechase class, where Debbie and her dog, Badger, worked together brilliantly. It’s not just about speed or flawless execution; it’s about the fun and the bond that Debbie and Badger share. Their run is a heart-warming reminder of the sheer delight that agility training can bring to both the handlers and their dogs. Watching them tackle the jumps and tunnel with such happiness showcases this sport. It’s an activity that fosters an unbreakable partnership between humans and their canine companions.
